Springdale, a city of nearly 68,000, has a mayor-council form of government. The council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall. In addition to the position of mayor, Springdale voters elect a City Clerk and City Attorney. There are eight city council members, two each from four different wards although the entire city elects all eight council members.
City Hall is open for business from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., weekdays. Offices of the mayor, city clerk, city attorney, planning commission, and police department are in City Hall. Offices of the fire department are in Station One on Holcomb Street.
