The Milken Institute Best Performing Cities ranking consistently ranks the Springdale-Fayetteville-Rogers MSA high among the nation's major metros. Ranked first in the nation in 2003, Springdale's metro catapulted in 2011 to 26th from its 43rd ranking in the 2010. The Springdale-Fayetteville-Rogers metro has been ranked in the Top 10 by Milken three of the last nine years and in the top 30 of large US metros all but two of the last nine years.
