The Solution to Cancer Treatment in the Region
Northwest Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute (NARTI) has provided state-of-the-art medical treatment to more than 9,000 cancer patients from Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas since commencing operations in Springdale in October 1985. The NARTI staff includes board-certified radiation oncologists - physicians skilled in the technology of treating cancer with radiation - assisted by highly trained technical and support personnel. The medical staff, technical and office staff, as well as the NARTI Auxiliary are dedicated to helping make each patient's radiation therapy treatment a success. NARTI is committed to helping its patients and their families confront this disease, both physically and emotionally.
NARTI is the only radiation therapy clinic in Northwest Arkansas. It is a community-owned organization governed by a volunteer board of directors representing various communities from throughout the four-county area. Most of the cancer patients referred to NARTI are from northwest Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southern Missouri. Medicare and private insurance companies pay most of the cost of radiation therapy. However, NARTI patients are treated regardless of their ability to pay for the cost of the therapy.
