Parsons Stadium is best known as the home of the Rodeo of the Ozarks but it's so much more. Depending on the weekend you choose, it seems there's always something going on there. Buckin' in the Ozarks
PBR Bull Riding Professional bull riders will ride the biggest and meanest bulls around as Buckin' In The Ozarks comes to town Saturday, July 9th, on the heels of the Rodeo of the Ozarks. The Professional Bull Riders will be bucking into Springdale for a night filled with rank bulls, high scores and big wrecks. Buckin' In The Ozarks begins at 7:30 p.m. at Parsons Stadium. The event will showcase the rising stars of the PBR riding alongside fan favorites and veterans, as competitors face-off against the most famous bucking bulls in the industry.
Ozark Demolition Derby
A fan favorite throughout Northwest Arkansas, the Ozark Demolition Derby crashs into Parsons Stadium May 14 and October 15 in 2011. A highlight of the season at Parsons Stadium, competitors from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma compete for cash prizes, trophies and bragging rights each May and August - bringing with them their fan clubs and loads of excitement. The premise is simple: the last three cars running in each of four heats will compete in the final heat. The last car remaining in the Championship Heat will be declared the winner and will be awarded first place money.
Monster Trucks
Big trucks, and we mean really BIG trucks, storm into Springdale's Parsons Stadium for heart-stopping action each year. Come watch the big boys compete in side by side racing. You've seen this motorized mayhem on TV...now experience it live. Let your senses experience the madness and be a part of the wildest weekends of the year. Monster Trucks will appear June 3-4, 2011.
