The Annual Meeting presented by Harps Food Stores is the Chamber's premier event of the year. The evening kicks off with the Chairman's Reception and wraps up with our unique Post-Reception with cordials, coffee and dessert bar.
Keynote Address
This year's keynote speaker is Jim Phillips, chairman and chief executive officer of NanoMech. Mr. Phillips is internationally credited with being instrumental in launching instant messaging, the PDA, Cable Modem, PCS, Fixed Cellular, Time Magazine's Medical Invention of the Year- the VeinViewer, and iPix, at the time, the world's largest provider of digital imaging infrastructure for the internet.
As Founding Chairman and Executive Director of the FedEx Institute of Technology (FIT), he helped establish this leading research park on the campus at the University of Memphis. In 2004, he was named an Information Week Magazine "Innovator of the Year." His insights into NanoMech, one of the world's leading nanoscale innovators, will change the way you think about tomorrow.

The highlight of each Annual Meeting is the recognition of the Chamber's annual Civic Service and Ambassador of the Year Award winners and our current and incoming leadership.
