Springdale's Educators Honored With Breakfast & Prizes
A teacher's hard work is often under-appreciated and the annual Teacher Appreciation Event is an event held to honor their hard work. More than 1,700 teachers from the Springdale school district attended the 2007 event.
In addition to recognizing new teachers and those teachers who have been in the school district for more than 25 years, two schools won Extreme Office Makeovers from Office Depot, more than 200 door prizes were given away to educators and more than 120 sets of tickets to a 2008 Northwest Arkansas Naturals game were given away.
We would like to thank all our volunteers, the many businesses who donated door prizes, our sponsors and most importantly our outstanding teachers, administrators and coaches for making this event such a success.
