2012 A&P Funding Requests Now Being Accepted
The Springdale A&P Commission provides funding to qualified groups who will attract overnight guests, particularly meetings, groups and conventions, to the city of Springdale. These funds are instrumental for economic development which will entice visitors to stay in Springdale hotels, eat in Springdale restaurants, and shop in Springdale shops.
The mission statement for the A&P Commission is as follows: To advertise and positively promote the city of Springdale and its environs. To increase occupancy, revenues and visitation in Springdale hotels, restaurants, meeting facilities, attractions and businesses. To enhance the cultural, recreational and economic environment of Springdale.
Applications will be made available online during the third quarter of 2011. Deadline for submission of completed applications will be Friday, October 14, 2011.
