Expanding Business Contacts
One of three key elements to the Springdale Chamber Small Business Stimulus Plan, Expanding Business Contacts offers options for a business to expand its customer base and to be more deliberate about networking throughout the community. These elements can be used alone or in conjunction with one another:
• Small Business Best Practice Series
• Small Business Spotlight Series
• Springdale RYSE
• Morning "Brew"
• Business After Hours
Small Business Best Practice Series -- Each month, the Chamber will publish in its monthly e-newsletter, the Chamber PULSE, informative articles that address needs of small business. In addition, Chamber members may submit 300-word or less articles to the Chamber for publication in the PULSE for the membership.
Small Business Spotlight Series -- Small businesses can have a difficult time marketing themselves. The Chamber will accept 300-word or less article submissions from Chamber members that tell an interesting story about that business. The articles will be included in the monthly Chamber PULSE as well as be archived on Springdale.com.
Springdale RYSE -- RYSE (pronounced RISE) stands for Rising Young Springdale Executives and the newly formed group was developed to provide young professionals an avenue to develop their community and professional skills while having fun through social networking activities. The group is open to members and non-members alike.
Morning "Brew" -- The newest networking event at the Chamber, this weekly coffee get-together occurs every Thursday from 8 a.m. till 8:45 a.m. Businesses may host the event for only the cost of light breakfast refreshments. It's a great way to get 30-40 business leaders in your place of business as well as strengthen business relationships.
Business After Hours -- The premier after hours networking event in the region, this monthly gathering is the place to be if you are looking to tell others about your products or services. Food and drink are served from 5 p .m. to 6:30 p.m. While open to members, this event is the perfect place to bring a non-member guest interested in finding out what the Chamber is all about.
